A little background. I’m on a site called Plenty of fish. I’ve been in contact with this one guy for a couple of weeks. We’ve emailed a few times, and he asked me for my phone number.

I’ve been very careful to be completely honest in my profile. What I’m looking for in a relationship, my lifestyle, my beliefs, my cats! I know many of the guys that have emailed me have not read my profile. But, this guy did. So I’m thinking, “ah, okay.”

We decide to meet today. He calls me this morning, and during our conversation he mentions he’s got 3 dogs. No problem, I love dogs. Then he says, he’s allergic to cats.

WHAT THE EVER LOVING HELL ARE YOU DOING CONTACTING ME THEN?

Seriously, is it me? Am I missing something. I’m not saying this guy and me are going to get married, but we’re in contact because we’d like to meet and maybe go out. That may or may not lead to something. If it does, what the hell does he think is going to happen with the cat situation? Am I going to have to visit him all the time? He lives in Bumfuck, btw. When he told me he was allergic, I told him I was as well. I am. But, since I’m around MY cats so much, I’ve grown somewhat used to them and they don’t bother me very much, plus I use sinus prescription meds a couple of times a week, and I’m good.

Now I don’t even know if I want to even bother meeting him!
